So long trip 1

Recalling a ride on the 1,500 baht second-hand bicycle (Armoy 2) from Singapore along the eastern coast of Malaysia back to Thailand, an older from Hang Chat nowadays could feel a little smile kindled on his face.

Looking over Banian, a traveling sidekick, and thinking about the FB trip awaiting him next week, he wrings his hands with a combination of stirring excitement flowing through the whole body.

On the launch day, he will take the local train no.408 from Chiang Mai railway station to Rai Gled Dow station, a lonely station between the connection of Den Chai and Uttaradit. This time, he will see someone get off the train and enjoy taking pictures from the first step before riding his folding bike through roadside greenery.

The 25-km route to Wat Uttaradit Dhammaram would be easy-going and enjoyable for a man who has just received his freedom.

The upside-down railway bridge is a must for him to pay a close looking.

And the Himtang Cafe would be an appropriate destination for a hungry traveler like him.

To stay overnight under the wooden Sala at the entrance of Wat Uttaradit Dhammaram would never be too scary for the sleeper unless he has no mosquito coil with him.

Oh dear, it is only one week ahead.
